Scheck Hillel Community School has some future Picassos and Renoirs roaming our campus. Through the 2014 RAVSAK Judaic Art Contest, four Scheck Hillel students received national honors. Out of more than 400 submissions received from 20 schools across the country, art and photography produced by Rachelle Murciano (Grade 8), Elizabeth Silberman (Grade 11), Nicole Scheck (Grade 11) and Sharon Stambouli (Grade 11) were selected.

Through her artwork, Rachelle communicated a message that rings true to our family here at Scheck Hillel: a community is made up of different parts that all come together to create a whole. Rachelle’s illustration was awarded first place in the middle school division. Elizabeth, Nicole and Sharon all received honorable mentions for their impressive works.

Scheck Hillel continues to recognize the value and the impact that arts education has on our student body. These talented students, and their works of art, have received a lot of media attention, including articles published in IsraPost and The Community Post. Please visit our Scheck Hillel Press Room to read the complete articles.
