Kulanu Week 2 is wrapping up and the kindness of your heart has been filling our community heart thermometer, which shows that we are now at 37% of goal.
Though your support has been heartwarming, we still need more help to send all of our students to school next year. This week, we raised enough to help 3 more students. 25 boys and girls remain who still need our help, who still need tuition assistance to attend school here next year.
That’s why we’re aiming for 100% participation. We still would love for the 63% of parents who have been unable to participate just yet to join in. Any Kulanu gift – no matter how small (or big!) - will bring us closer to raising the $250,000 we still need for our kids. A gift from the heart is good for the heart, so follow your heart and give today!Heart-Filled Selfies: Check out our Flickr album to see the fun or just follow #AtTheHeartOfItAll!
40 Hearts = 40 Kids: We updated our campus banners to signify this week’s success. You’ll see them on NE 191st Street and in the Circle.
$10,000 Cash or Tuition Credit Raffle: Buy your tickets while supporting Kulanu at eHillel.org/win.
Heartfelt Mitzvot In Action: ECE classes donated tzdekah to Kulanu. A student who found $20 bill on the floor donated it to Kulanu. And 7 Juda and Maria Diener Lower School students are requesting Kulanu donations in lieu of birthday gifts. Wow!
Students, faculty and staff, remember to wear your heart on your sleeve in you Kulanu t-shirt tomorrow and every Friday in May!
