Our Grade 3 students traveled back in time to learn about the country from where they, or their ancestors, came. This multi-cultural exploration culminatedGrade 3’s social studies curriculum. The students applied knowledge they acquired throughout the year about government, geography and culture. Students also included aspects of Jewish culture and tradition into their presentations.
Equipped with their very own passports, students traveled to the different countries displayed around their classrooms. Parents and grandparents also joined in for this trip across the globe, listening to the children share what they learned about the countries they came from.
We are fortunate to be able to celebrate such a diverse community here at Scheck Hillel, making this special learning opportunity all the more impactful.
