Interscholastic sports are an essential piece of what diversifies Scheck Hillel Community School’s educational opportunities. This week, Scheck Hillel took the time to honor our many student-athletes in the 2015 Moris Khoudari Memorial Athletic Awards Ceremonies.
The Ben Lipson Upper School and the Samuel and Henrietta Scheck Middle School each had a dedicated award ceremony to honor the hard work, dedication and commitment that Scheck Hillel’s student-athletes devote not only to athletics, but also to their studies.
A very special mazal tov to Albert Dichy (Grade 12), Daniel Ohayon (Grade 12), Nicole Scheck (Grade 12) and Sharon Stambouli: the 2015 Moris Khoudari Outstanding Athletes of the Year. These students went above and beyond, playing on multiple varsity sports teams, demonstrating leadership and maintaining high GPAs.
Scheck Hillel’s student-athletes put in tremendous time and effort to make our school a serious force to be reckoned with both on and off the field. These students are a true embodiment of our motto: As students we SOAR, as Lions we ROAR!
