With Mother's Day right around the corner, the emphasis this week was on celebrating mom! Juda and Maria Diener Lower School classrooms celebrated Mother’s Day a little early, hosting moms on campus for special Mother's Day parties where students had the opportunity to share special presents, songs, stories and poems they had prepared for their mothers. Many classes even got dads in on the action! Fathers came to campus early in the week to help collaborate and make heartfelt presents for mom, such as picture frames, cards, flower pots and keepsake boxes. Students in our Grade 6-8 Chesed Club also had mothers in mind, as they packed beautiful Mother's Day baskets to donate to Jewish Community Services.
