Early Childhood students explore music through movement, listening and beginning vocal performance. From Beethoven and ballet to Mozart and merengue, Scheck Hillel's ECE music curriculum introduces youngsters to a vast array of world art. Students use song and dance to learn about, embrace and appreciate various cultures. Guided by the calendar of chagim, students have been exploring Jewish heritage and traditions; this week, music classes coupled creative moments with Rosh Hashanah. Students danced with streamers to Für Elise by Beethoven and acted out the process of bees making honey. Click the video to the left to see our bees buzzing.
