What is Art for?A video produced by the The Guardian poses the question: What is Art for? Art keeps us hopeful and also helps us to appreciate things; just two answers the Guardian video serves up in response to this age-old question. Our Jordan Alexander Ressler Arts Program attributes those reasons - and many of the reasons listed in the image to the left - to the value of arts education. That's why our arts curriculum begins in ECE and continues through Grade 12 with both depth and breadth. From fine arts to music and theatre, students benefit from all that art has to offer, including learning to find their voice, respect others, envision solutions and express themselves. |
