Mazel tov to student-athlete Benjamin Vaisberg, Grade 10, and Coach Ben Magidson! This morning, they were honored at the All-Dade athletics ceremony as First Team All-Dade and boys soccer class 1a-3a Coach of the Year, respectively. As Scheck Hillel Community School's mens varsity soccer coach, Mr. Magidson led Vaisberg and his teammates to rank at the state level earlier this school year. Mr. Magidson also serves Hillel as Dean of Students, Grades 6-12.
Hillel’s Athletics program provides students with the opportunity to represent their school and compete interscholastically in a wide variety of sports. Athletics play an integral part of teaching the whole child. Athletics, along with an academically inspired curriculum, help foster strength of character and promote great leadership qualities that last a lifetime.
