Prospective and current families are busy touring Scheck Hillel Community School and participating in information sessions to learn about 2014-2015, and students are moving UP.

At max capacity, December 10’s morning session for rising Grade 6 parents covered the International Baccalaureate Middle School Year Programme and the “learning and loving” philosophy of Hillel's Samuel and Henrietta Scheck Middle School. A tear of emotional joy was shed when a mom took in the school’s mission and goals. That afternoon’s session for PK4 parents focused on Kindergarten’s General and Judaic Studies curriculum and the reassurance of the smooth transition to Kindergarten and higher grades within the Hillel's Juda and Maria Diener Lower School.

Grade 5 spent the morning moving up to Grade 6 on December 12, getting a feel for changing classrooms, meeting faculty and spending time with students. Moving Up Day is an annual experience that offers rising students a taste of what's ahead; parents are encouraged to ask their children about their time in Middle School.

Scheck Hillel is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 school year. Through individualized instruction in the classroom, enrollment discounts and considerate tuition, Scheck Hillel is growing its tradition of gratitude by giving their students the education, experiences and opportunities that lead to happiness, fulfillment and success.

Register for an upcoming 2014-2015 information session at eHillel.org/joinus or contact Betty Salinas or Sandra Levy ('94) in the Admission office (305.931.2831).
