Varsity Boys Basketball
The varsity boys basketball team played in the annual Hebrew Academy preseason tournament last night, and defeated Yeshiva of Boca in a squeaker 43-38. Daniel Ohayon played great defense while Jack Kaswan led the team in assists.
They will play for first or second place tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:30..most likely playing Hebrew Academy in the finals.
Middle School Girls Basketball
Girls MS basketball defeated ACE yesterday 29-23. What an incredible act of hustle and smarts to win the game. The tenacity was led by Regina Saada with a season high 7 points, captains Lauren Rub and Vanessa Gonik joined in with 6 a piece, along with point guard Maya Feuer with 6...but defense wins games! Defensively for the Hurricanes, Danilela Wolf, Michelle Elovic and Amanda Scheck rebounded and fought hard for the ball.

The Hurricanes, beat the Posnack Rams 37-9 last night, securing 3rd place in the Preseason Jewish tournament. On offense Shoshi Wolf, hit a season high 16 points, while Sami Lieberman added 10. Great job Hurricanes!
